Gift Guide for Him

Christmas Gift Guide for Him 2019

It’s that time of year again!

I cannot for the life of me believe how quickly Christmas has rolled around this year.  For the first time I’ve tried to plan my Christmas Gift Guide’s a little more in advance for you.  This way you can browse these items on Black Friday (in case there are any specials), and you have time to order online for delivery before Christmas.

So, without further ado, read on to see what I’ve suggested as gifts for the men in your life!

GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM

1.Pringle Chinos (R1199 on Superbalist) – A well-tailored pair of chinos is the best item for your man’s wardrobe, especially if he needs to dress nicely for work.  They work well for smarter events too!

2.Nixon Sentry 38 Watch (R2699 on Superbalist) – The leather strap and blue face on this watch really are very attractive, I think my Hubs would love this style.

3.Guess Chinos (R799 on Superbalist) – These Guess chinos are also really nicely tailored.  I think nothing looks better on a man than a pair of chinos that fits him properly.  You can take a browse through the other pants and chinos on Superbalist HERE for a look at other colours and styles.

4.Michael Kors Theroux watch (R5599 on Superbalist) – Expensive but a gorgeous time piece.

GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM

1.Smith & Wesson Search & Rescue Knife (R350 on Takealot) – This set comes with the knife, sheath and a sharpening stone.  Great for the outdoors man or knife collector.

2.Apple AirPods with Charging Case (R2499 from Incredible Connection) – AirPods are a great gift for ANYONE with an Apple device.

3.La Fermete Greenline Tool Box (R880 on Takealot) – With us moving into our new home in the next 3-6 months, I know Hubs needs a fresh tool set.  This would be a great gift for any DIY dude.

4.Portable Braai (R899 from Woolworths) – This braai can fit enough meat for 2 people, so amazing for camping, rugby and picnics – anywhere really!

5.Armani Code Profumo Eau de Parfum (R1420 for 60ml at Edgars) – I bought this for Hubs a couple of Christmases ago.  It’s fresh, yet spicy and he always smells delicious when he wears it.

6.Rogue Ice Cooler 18L (R2259 on Yuppie Chef) – This is a nice big cooler, and something that the serious campers would like.  It’s basically a better quality and much fancier cooler than your regular ones.

7.Elon Musk (R150 on Takealot) – Learn more about this genius in the book written by Ashlee Vance.

8.Bushnell 10×25 Powerview Binoculars (R599 from Cape Union Mart) – Always a nice gift, whether your man is a bird watcher or enjoys heading out into the bush and watching game.

9.Snug Fast Wireless Desktop Plate Charger (R336 on Mantality) – These are a great gift suggestion for anyone really.  They charge your phone SUPER fast and it’s all wireless, you simply place your phone on top!

GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM

1.Bootlegger White Lightening Moonshine (R130 on Takealot) – A unique liquor option if you’re keen on gifting something other than brandy, whisky or wine.

2.Bains Cape Mountain Whisky gift set (R299 on Takealot) – This is my brother in law’s favourite, and after Hubs and I attended the Whisky Journey this year I can firmly say that we love it too.

3.Steel Bullet Whisky Stones (R395 on Mantality) – My Hubs likes (as many others do) his bourbon on the rocks.  How awesome would these be to cool his drink down?

4.League of Beers Taste Belgium (R199 on Yuppie Chef) – For the avid beer-lover, a set of international beers like this would be a lovely treat.

5.Makers Mark Old Fashioned Gift Set (R339 on Takealot) – This is actually one I’m seriously looking at getting for my Hubs.  He’s a bourbon drinker and his favourite cocktail is probably an Old Fashioned.  This set is fantastic!

6.Nespresso Essenza 1450W Mini (R1449 on Yuppie Chef) – Most men love good coffee (I know my Hubby is no exception), so if he doesn’t have a Nespresso machine, this would be a great time to spoil him with one.

So – with all of these ideas, what will you be buying the man in YOUR life this Christmas?
